A CARE home in Shinfield is celebrating after winning two prestigious awards.
Care UK’s Parsons Grange, on Westall Street, received a gold award for ‘outstanding care provider in a group’ in this year’s 2026 Care Home Awards, which recognise and reward excellence and innovation in UK care home management, operation and delivery.
Rozina Ali, home manager at Parsons Grange, said: “We are thrilled to have been named as the outstanding care provider at this year’s awards.
“We work incredibly hard to support residents with compassionate, person-centred care, and these awards show just how dedicated the team is at looking after every individual’s needs.
“I would like to say thank you to our team for their hard work and dedication, which I know is also greatly appreciated by residents and their families.
Team Leader Crystal de Ocampo has also been recognised ‘frontline leader in care’ at the BCA Care Awards.
Crystal has been trained as a Mental Capacity Act and best interests champion, focusing on person-centred care; promoting best practice, raising awareness and supporting colleagues in caring for residents.
Crystal said: “I’m extremely honoured to have won this award.
“This recognition means so much to me and reflects the passion and dedication I strive to bring to Parsons Grange every day.
“It is so important to build a confident team in the care sector, and I am incredibly pleased that this hard work is being celebrated across Berkshire.”
Rozina added: “Crystal is deeply committed to supporting her team.
“She’s a big part of what makes Parsons Grange a place many are proud to call home, and we’re very lucky to have her.
“Well done, Crystal.”
