A REMINDER has been issued to firms thinking of entering this year’s Thames Valley Tech Awards – the closing date is coming closer.
The awards aim to honour the best in the region and 12 awards are up for grabs. They include Innovative Tech Company, Tech Employer of the Year, Global Tech Company and Tech Start-Up.
Often referred to as the UK’s biggest tech hub outside of London, the Thames Valley has seen technology become a significant part of its economy for over 20 years and is home for tech companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, Huawei and Cisco, and many start-ups.
David Murray, Founder and Managing Director at Elcot Media & Events Ltd, said: “We have already received some fantastic entries into this year’s awards and would like to encourage any outstanding successes of large global brands and smaller, to get their entries in before Friday, May 31.
“We are looking forward to celebrating on the night and crowning our next winners.”
This year’s Thames Valley Tech Awards follows the success of its first year in 2018, that saw local businesses including Southern Communications, Ultima Business Solutions and Open Cosmos scoop awards.
