A TREE is reported to have fallen down in Sonning, causing delays on the road.
People have been commenting that there are big delays on the B478 Playhatch Road as a result.
It is not yet known how the tree collapsed or exactly where it has happened: it is said to be close to Sonning bridge, where traffic is controlled by traffic lights.
Comments on social media suggest that it is on the Caversham side of the River Thames.
The closure will affect people attempting to get to The Mill as Sonning – the dinner theatre is hosting matinees and evening performances today of its Christmas musical Guys and Dolls.
Traffic maps show that the area is facing heavy delays as a result.
