A WINNERSH-based steakhouse has launched a special three-course menu that it says showcases its quality steaks.

Bar+Block, off Reading Road, is also serving some limited edition cocktails, just for the festive season.

Sourced from British and Irish Angus breeds and matured for at least 30 days to ensure maximum flavour, options include a Red Wine & Mushroom Sirloin Steak, expertly prepared and served on a puff pastry base, or the Premium Steak Experience, with three cuts (fillet, rump and sirloin), topped with truffle-infused garlic butter and served with chunky, beef-dripping chips and choice of sauce.

Other dishes include the Festive Loaded Burger; a homemade 4oz beef patty, topped with a turkey slice, a pork, cheddar and bacon sausage swirl and cranberry barbecue sauce.

And for those wanting a more traditional festive roast there is Turkey with all the trimmings, complete with lashings of red wine gravy.

The three course menu is available for £30.95.

There is also the Festive Bottomless Lunch menu, available every day from noon and 5pm (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day), with dishes including a chargrilled Steak Sandwich and a Beef Burnt Ends Stuffed Yorkie, all paired with two hours of limitless drinks and Christmassy tipples from £38.

The limited-edition cocktail specials, include a Candy Cane Martini with raspberry flavoured vodka, Baileys Original Irish Cream, strawberry and frosted mint syrup, shaken with milk and cream; the Baubletini; a mix of Raspberry vodka with Triple Sec and Martini, shaken with maple syrup and cranberry and served in a bauble; and the Star + Block of Baileys Chocolat Luxe vodka, with chocolate and salted caramel syrup, milk and cream, topped with a chocolate star.

For those who want a bit of everything, there is a Christmas Tree cocktails mix and match for £45.

The cocktails are available throughout the day with a two-for-one offer between 4pm and 8pm.
