A BAND will be performing a very special coming of age party next month.
Wilder’s Folly will be at The Warehouse in Reading on Saturday, October 27 to raise funds for two special care baby units that helped Miriam Moore during her short life.
Born 12 weeks premature, she was a patient at first the Buscot Ward at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and then at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Parents Paul and Denise said: “For our gig, we would like this to be a celebration of the kind of occasion we think Miriam might have liked if she was still with us and we would like to invite you to this event and help us raise funds for these two very special charities.
“There will be live music from local five-piece covers band, Wilder’s Folly (Paul plays bass and Denise plays keyboards).
“Light refreshments will be available during the evening along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.”
A limited number of tickets for the family-friendly event are available and are available for a donation of at least £5. Under 14s can get dancing for free.
