A WOKINGHAM charity that supports people at times of crisis finds itself short of some basic toiletries.
This, it says, is due to the high demand for help it is currently experiencing.
A representative of The Cowshed said: “We’re currently really struggling with donations of toiletries, and it’s starting to have a direct impact on the families we support.
“Anything we don’t receive, we have to buy ourselves.
“With demand so high, we would be so grateful for your generosity.”
The charity is looking for any unopened, unused essentials.
Adult items it needs include: toothbrushes, both men’s and women’s razors, and conditioner.
Children’s toiletries the charity is short of include: toothbrushes and toothpaste for infants up to two years old, nappy cream, and child and baby toiletries.
“These small, everyday items make such a big difference to someone who is starting again, or going through a really tough time,” said the representative.
Items can be delivered to the charity’s Donation Centre, at Rubra 2, Mulberry Business Park, Wokingham, on Mondays through to Thursdays from 10am until 3pm, and on Saturdays between 10am and 1pm.
People can also support the charity by buying toiletries online via The Cowshed’s Amazon Wishlist.
