A 41-year-old woman from Wokingham has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire in Wokingham on Saturday, December 9.
The fire occurred at a home on William Heelas Way, part of the Montague Park development off London Road.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “At around 1.17pm on Saturday, December 9, we received reports of a fire on William Heelas Way.
“Officers attended, alongside colleagues from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and South Central Ambulance Service.”
A spokesperson for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews from four stations attended the incident, alongside two officers.
“Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire on the first floor of a three-storey building,” the spokesperson said.
“Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
“One person was placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
“Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 10 minutes before handing over to Thames Valley Police.”
The woman has been released on bail.
