AN 88-year-old man has been charged over the murder of a Lower Earley woman.
On Saturday, November 21, Josephine Williamson was discovered at a house in Elm Lane, Lower Earley.
A man was airlifted from the same address to John Radcliffe Hospital where he received treatment for injuries.
Today, Thames Valley Police announced that Philip Williamson, aged 88 of Elm Lane, Lower Earley, was charged with one count of murder. He had been arrested on November 21.
Mr Williamson has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court today.
