A LOWER Earley charity that supports young people and their families through times of bereavement is holding a Charity Golf Day to boost its funds.
Daisy’s Dream will hold its sporting event at a championship-standard golf course in the heart of Berkshire.
De Vere Wokefield Estate is home to Wokefield Estate Golf Club: a 6,996-yard, par 72 championship golf course designed to US PGA standards – one of the leading golf clubs in Berkshire.
Whether golfers on the day are seasoned professionals or first-timers, the day will be thoughtfully designed for all to enjoy, with elevated tees, streams, lakes, and bunkers to test everyone’s skill.
The event will enable teams of four players to enjoy the 18 holes course, after a bacon roll and coffee breakfast.
And the on-course competitions will then be followed by a two course meal, raffle and silent auction.
Daisy’s Dream’s Charity Golf Day will take place at Wokefield Estate Golf Club on Thursday, June 11.
Breakfast is at 8.30am, followed by a shotgun start at 10.30am.
Participation costs £480 per team of four, and includes breakfast, the course and competitions, the two course meal, raffle and auction.
Companies wishing to support Daisy’s Dream still further can add £100 hole sponsorship to their team fee, enabling them to display sponsorship signage on the tee of their chosen hole.
