Police are investigating after a man in his sixties was found with a serious head injury in Woosehill.
Officers were called to Chestnut Avenue in Wokingham, Woosehill shortly before 09:50 BST on Sunday. The man was taken to hospital, where he remains receiving treatment.
Thames Valley Police said it is carrying out a “thorough investigation” to establish what happened, including reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
At present, officers say there is no indication that a third party was involved, but enquiries are ongoing.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the Chestnut Avenue area between 23:30 BST on Saturday and 09:50 BST on Sunday.
