WOKINGHAM United Charities (WUC) wants to better understand the needs of local charities.
The funding body (and Wokingham’s oldest charity) is launching a survey, which it invites organisations to complete.
It hopes that their insights will help it to target future funding grants to make the biggest difference in the borough.
As well as providing almshouse accommodation for older residents in the town, WUC gives grants to support organisations working with people in need across Wokingham Borough.
Its survey gives charities an opportunity to explain the challenges, priorities and opportunities that they encounter.
“We would very much appreciate the participation of as many borough charities working with people in need, as possible,” said a WUC spokesperson.
“The information charities provide will directly support our work to understand local needs, and will help us to ensure that our future grant funding can be targeted to make the greatest difference. “
