Rick Lay, Labour
Rick Lay grew up in Reading and has lived in Earley for the last 15 years.
He is a fundraiser for a local charity and has a daughter that attends Earley St Peter’s school.
Rick said: “Wokingham Borough Council does not represent Woodley residents and hasn’t for some time. It’s clear that we need to change our councillors to get things done differently.
“Vote for me and I’ll ensure you see change, I’ll ensure your voice is heard.”
Tom McCann, Liberal Democrat
Tom has lived in Woodley for many years. He currently runs a chain of charity shops.
As a former councillor for Loddon, he knows the local issues.
He is particularly concerned to make sure Woodley gets a fair share of council spending.

I’m passionate about Woodley. I moved to Spruce Road in 1983 with my wife Hilary and our two girls. Over the years we’ve seen many changes but I believe Woodley retains its community atmosphere with friendly people quick to offer help and a smile.
I have represented my ward on the Borough Council since 2014: working hard helping residents with issues ranging from speeding to tree protection to anti-social behaviour. Re-elect me to be a strong voice for Loddon.
I believe that most, not all, of the changes I have seen have been to the benefit of the people of Woodley. My aim has always been and will continue to be to ensure that our town is a great place to live and work.
