THAMES Valley Police has confirmed that it is appealing for information following a serious assault in Wokingham.
Multiple police vehicles remain on the scene on Peach Street as investigations into the assault continue, with ongoing disruption to traffic in Peach Street and nearby roads expected.
A police spokesperson said: “We are investigating a serious assault at an address on Peach Street, Wokingham, at around 2.50pm on Tuesday, April 21.
“We are not aware of any threat to the wider public as this is believed to have been an isolated incident where those involved are known to each other.
“We have made an arrest and they remain in police custody at this time.
“We have a scene in place at the address so please avoid the area while we investigate.
“Anyone with information should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 1147 of today.
“We will provide more details when we are able to.”
