A TOP quality bowling display from Jacob Clarke and a fine batting display from Danny Housego helped Wokingham to achieve their second win of the season.
Clark made a superb start to his bowling stint as he picked up two early wickets to dismiss Josh Drage and wicket keeper Robin Pritchard for one run each, both of whom were caught out by Oaks wicket keeper Michael Bates.
Chesham captain Matthew Rance and number four batsman Andy Goddard formed a much needed partnership to build a platform for Chesham.
But their resistance was finally broken from the bowling of Lewis Sharp as Bates claimed his third catch of the match to dismiss Goddard for 37 runs before top scorer Rance (73) was caught out by Clark from the bowling of Simon Myles.

Clark continued his bowling form to take two more wickets as Bates took his tally of catches to four, before Jarrett Bobb picked up two wickets of his own.
With the score at 200-9, Chesham managed to put three more runs on the board as they lasted the allotted 50 overs to set Wokingham a chase of 203 to catch.
The Oaks started their innings slowly as Chesham broke through with two early wickets to dismiss Archie Carter for six runs before captain Stuart Parsons was removed shortly after for nine.
Housego and Bates established a good relationship at the crease which allowed them to tally a huge number of runs on the board. Bates knocked a rapid 70 runs from 72 balls as he hit nine fours and a six before being caught out.

Sukhmeet Kang joined Housego at the crease as the Oaks sealed victory. Kang hit 36 runs from 44 balls while Housego remained not out on 80 runs from 97 balls to consolidate a seven wicket victory for the hosts.
The Oaks are in sixth place in the Home Counties League Division 2 after a start to the season which has seen them win two and lose two of their four matches.
