THE UNDEAD are about to break out of Remenham, with the zombie apocalypse expected on Saturday.
Temple Island Meadows is the place where only the fittest will survive.
Zombies lurk around every corner, and we understand they are very partial to brains.
But don’t panic, visitors to the Island are not heading to the Winchester waiting for it all to blow over: they will be tackling 10 zombie-themed challenges in a special fun run.
Organised by Zombie Evacuation, there are two runs – a 5km and a 10km route.
Running in waves from 10.30am, the 1,000 participants will attempt to dodge the undead as they go through the course.
All finishers receive a medal and a T-shirt, while the top three finishers will also receive a trophy.
The event is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs due to the route, and dogs are not allowed.
