Ye Olde Leathern Bottel pub on Barkham Road in Wokingham is set to reopen with an improved look and feel this spring following a six-figure refurbishment.
The Chef & Brewer pub – part of pub company and brewer Greene King – has temporarily closed whilst renovations take place, with the revamped venue set to reopen its doors next month.
The investment will deliver extensive improvements, preserving the pub’s unique character whilst offering a range of modern comforts to elevate customers’ experiences.
Inside, the pub will be fully refreshed with new furniture, lighting and décor, along with upgrades to the bar area to create a more spacious open-plan layout for drinkers to enjoy.
Outside, Ye Olde Leathern Bottel’s garden is receiving significant investment with the introduction of a new pergola, upgraded furniture and extended seating, ensuring the perfect spot for alfresco drinking and dining.
