A Bracknell business welcomed some important visitors last week.
The team at ethical nursery retailer, Natural Baby Shower, welcomed deputy mayor of Bracknell, councillor Jenny Penfold, and executive member for economic development and regeneration, councillor Paul Bidwell, to its HQ.
What started as a small business 17 years ago, born from a passion for sustainable parenting, Natural Baby Shower is now a market-leading, independent retailer, that believe that if you “buy well, you’ll buy once.”
The firm works with and stocks more than 140 ethical and premium baby brands, and employs over 75 staff.
The company, which has recorded sales of more than £100 million in the past five years, operates from a state-of-the-art and energy efficient HQ in Bracknell, which they invested in to help reduce its carbon footprint, and aid its mission to be best for baby, best for parents and best for the planet.
Founders Clifton Vaughan and Victoria Hampson, were delighted to welcome their visitors, who came to congratulate the pair on their many years of success and achievements, as well as to thank them for the work they do for charity and the environment.
Speaking about the exciting visit, co-founder Victoria said: “It was an honour to welcome the Mayor of Bracknell to our offices to celebrate the continued success of Natural Baby Shower.
“Looking back over 17 years of work, dedication, passion, and energy, I am so proud of where we are now, and how far we have come from two people round a kitchen table.
“There is to telling where we will be in another 17 years, but I can say with confidence that the future is bright, and we will never stop trying to do better for people and planet,”
Deputy mayor, Cllr Penfold, added: “It’s been a delight to visit such a wonderful business, full of hope and aspirations for the future, and I look forward to witnessing the continued successes of the business.”
