A NEW community project is helping youngsters stay occupied this summer, giving parents some much-needed time off.
Shinfield Parish Council launched its Friday Funday on July 28, which features pop-up soft play and other fun activities for children to get engrossed with.
Organisers welcome optional voluntary contributions and ask that parents and carers supervise their children at all times. The Robyn’s Nest Cafe will offer half price ice creams during these events.
Sessions will then take place from 11am-2pm every Friday in August, with August 11 being the next date.
