JUST BEFORE Christmas, we celebrated back to back wins against Swindon.
What a great way to set ourselves up for the festive season. And what a great start for our new import, Tyler VanKleef, who scored on his home debut.
We had the biggest crowd of the season in the Hive. I know more and more people are realising how enjoyable Hockey night is and that games against Swindon are especially exciting.
The players are enjoying success on the ice, but they know how many people off the ice are also contributing to the club’s success.
On Sunday night the Supporters Club presented a cheque for £9,000. The School Zone goes from strength to strength. And hundreds of bears hit the ice at the end of the first period.
We’re starting off 2019 with Charity games against Swindon. Thank you for your support for the Young Epilepsy charity.
Now we’re into the second half of the season. We’ve got Cup games against Peterborough coming up and look forward to meeting them on Saturday in a League fixture (6pm).
