A MAN from Three Mile Cross is due to appear in court charged with burglary.
Ashley Reed-Jones, 20, of Caribou Walk, is charged with trespassing at a property in Colemansmoor Lane, Woodley, on July 7 this year, and stealing a television. Mr Reed-Jones denies the charge.
He has also been charged with three counts of fraud by false representation, relating to incidents at Cash Converters in Reading on May 24, June 1 and July 5 this year.
Mr Reed-Jones denies all three of these charges also.
He has been remanded on bail to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on December 1 for the trial.
A MAN from Woodley has been fined £125 for failing to comply with a community order.
Thomas William Spires, 29, of Keats Road, appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 2 where he admitted breaching a community order, imposed by the same court on July 20, 2015, by failing to attend a rehabilitation requirement on July 23 this year, and failing to provide evidence to cover an absence on July 9 this year.
Mr Spires was fined £125, and ordered to pay costs of £60.
A MAN from Earley is due to appear in court charged with obstructing a police constable.
Christopher Maddox, 42, of Marefield, is charged with wilfully obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty in Reading on March 13 this year. Mr Maddox denies the charge.
He has been remanded on unconditional bail to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on December 4 for the trial.
A MAN from Shinfield has admitted breaching a community order.
Ibrahim Salah Maprok, 24, of Rushall Close, appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 2 where he admitted failing to comply, without reasonable excuse, with the requirements of a community order on September 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20 and 21.
Mr Maprok was ordered to carry out an additional 15 hours of unpaid community work, in addition to the 80 already ordered in the previous requirement, totalling 95 hours, by July 18, 2018.
A MAN from Winnersh has been given a conditional discharge after pleading guilty to criminal damage.
Graeme Cook, 30, of Azalea Close, appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 4 where he admitted damaging window glass belonging to a woman in Winnersh on September 16 this year.
Mr Cook was handed a conditional discharge for 12 months; ordered to pay a surcharge of £20; and costs of £85.
A MAN from Finchampstead has pleaded guilty to a public order offence.
Michael Gary Randall, 77, of Nine Mile Ride, appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 4 where he admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a woman in Wokingham on August 17 this year.
Mr Randall was given a conditional discharge for 12 months; ordered to pay a surcharge of £20; and costs of £85.
A MAN from Shinfield has pleaded guilty to theft.
Wasim Ahmed Javed, 32, of Oatlands Road, appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 4 where he pleaded guilty to stealing food, worth £8.35, from the BP Garage in Woodley on August 28.
Mr Javed also admitted commissioning a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order, imposed by Berkshire Magistrates’ Court on June 24 this year.
Mr Javed has been remanded on bail to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on November 23 for sentencing.
He is not to go to the BP Garage in Chalfont Way, the BP Garage in Basingstoke Road, or John Lewis in Reading before that time, and is to report to Loddon Valley police station between noon and 4pm on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
He is to live and sleep each night at his home address until the court appearance.
