A real estate agency with an office in Wokingham has entered administration.
Hat and Home, previously based in Alexandra Court off Denmark Street, has also closed its offices in Crowthorne, Sandhurst, and Bracknell.
The business was launched in February 2021.
In September 2022 it was awarded a contract by Wokingham borough council to market its flagship Carnival Place apartments.
A council spokesperson told Wokingham Today: “We’re aware that Hat and Home estate agents are entering administration, which means its Wokingham office will be closing.
“As they are the agents for our housing scheme at Carnival Place, we’re working to put alternative arrangements in place to ensure continuity for any of those sales.
“This, understandably, will take some time to organise, but anyone in the process of purchasing at Carnival Place will be contacted directly.
“Any other customers of Hat and Home should contact the company directly.”
