BRACKNELL TOWN put three points on the board with Joe Grant’s goal giving them a win over Hendon.

With the scores locked at 0-0 at half-time, it was the Robins who scored the only goal of the game with 10 minutes to go when he rifled in from 10 yards out.

The win puts Bracknell in ninth on 36 points from 24 games with a trip to bottom of the table Didcot Town up next.

ASCOT UNITED were on the end of a thumping home defeat against Thatcham Town.

Early goals saw Thathcham race into a quick lead after three minutes before Taylor Morgan levelled up for the Yellas.

But Thatcham quickly restored their lead, added another to go into the break two goals to the good and then scored two late goals in the second-half to secure a 5-1 victory.

Ascot are in 13th on 23 points from 22 games.

YATELEY UNITED picked up their 15th league win of the campaign with a convincing win against Bedfont.

Goals from Callum Scott, Luke Cairns and Tyler Garrett put Yateley three nil in front at half-time and Josh Mynard hit a fourth to complete the scoring in the second-half.

Thames Valley Premier League

FINCHAMPSTEAD left it late to pick up a dramatic stoppage time win to cut the gap on league leaders Westwood Wanderers in a top of the table clash.

It was Dylan Parmar who scored the all important goal to make it 2-1 in the 93rd minute to earn Finch a crucial away win to turn the tide in the title race.

The win means that Finch are now just two points behind the league leaders with a game in hand.

Bracknell & District Sunday League Division One

WINNERSH RANGERS closed the gap at the top of the table after they picked up three points with a thumping win at 3M.

The 6-0 victory means Rangers are on 21 points from 12 games having won six matches and are only five points behind leaders Bracknell Cavaliers.

Reading & District Sunday League Cup

FC BAPCO booked their place in the next round with a 4-1 win over BURGHFIELD, while GC UNITED got past LOXWOOD PARK RANGERS with a 3-0 triumph.

ENGLEFIELD EAGLES beat TRBL TESLA’S in a one goal game.

GIVE BACK RESERVES stormed past HYPE TRAIN with a 9-0 thrashing.

FC WHITLEY WOOD defeat NEW ENGLAND 4-2 to move through to the next round.
