MBBO Regional 2

South Berkshire 1s magnificent start to their league campaign continues as they made it four wins out of four. Sam Fox-Harvey netted the only goal of the game as they sealed their fourth victory of the season with a 1-0 win over Marlow 2s to stay three points clear at the top of the division.

Sonning 1s stay hot on the heels of first placed South Berkshire, claiming their third win in four games with a 5-1 thrashing at home to Oxford Hawks 3s. Ian Finlayson, James Manser, Jonathan Sharp and Ian Gallagher (2) all got on the scoresheet in the comfortable victory. 

MBBO Division 1

Sonning 2s climbed up the table as they continued their strong early form in the season with their third win in four matches. Steve Crowther bagged two goals, while Joe Pook added the other to confirm a 3-0 away victory at Newbury & Thatcham. They move up to fourth.

MBBO Division 2

A thrilling 5-5 draw saw South Berkshire 2s drop their first points of the season, however they still remain as the league leaders having won all of their other four league fixtures. Michael Amor, Sean Hardingham, Paul Kaplanski and Daniel Ray (2) all scored in the high scoring encounter which ended in the points being shared. 

MBBO Division 3

Sonning 3s were narrowly beaten by Oxford Hawks 5s as they moved down a place into fourth. Elliot Weiss notched a brace while Christopher Roberts added a third bu they suffered a 4-3 home defeat.

South Berkshire 3s picked up their first win of the season with a 3-2 away win at Aylesbury 2s with Ducan Clarke, Callum Miller and Tom Scott helping to earn three points on the road.

South Clubs Women’s Hockey Division 3A

Sonning Ladies 1s dropped down the table to fifth as they played out their second stalemate of the season with a 1-1 draw against Salisbury Ladies 1s.

Trysports Premier 1

South Berkshire Ladies 1s were beaten for the third time in five matches, being edged 2-1 away at Maidenhead Ladies 2s as they dropped to the foot of the division having not won a game yet this campaign.
