This summer, The Lexicon is bringing a month of mythical fun to Bracknell with Dragons at The Lexicon — a free, family-friendly event featuring a host of dragon-themed attractions.
Step into a world of fantasy as five impressive animatronic dragons appear across the streets, alongside ten beautifully designed dragon eggs created by local secondary schools and colleges in partnership with Daler-Rowney.
Visitors can follow the trail, including a 1.6-metre-tall LEGO dragon at Fenwick, to discover them all.
Throughout the summer holidays, families can also enjoy weekly meet-and-greet sessions with five spectacular dragon puppets.
Meanwhile, The Lexicon Express will be transformed with colourful dragon scales and a limited-edition dragon sticker to collect along the way.
Visitors are encouraged to snap, tag and share their favourite moments on social media, whether posing with a dragon, egg or the giant dragon deckchair for the chance to win exciting summer prizes.
Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon, said: “We’re delighted to bring Dragons at The Lexicon to Bracknell this summer.
“With a packed programme of free activities for all ages and the chance to win a share of prizes worth £1,000, we can’t wait to see visitors discover the dragons and enjoy everything the event has to offer.”
As part of the event, visitors can purchase a crocheted dragon keyring, handmade by local community organisation Crafting Smiles, together with a jar of The Lexicon honey from Brown Bag in Bracknell as part of a £7.50 bundle.
All proceeds will support The Lexicon Charity Fund.
