BOROUGH gardeners showed off their cultivating talents at their summer show.
Held at Loddon Hall, Twyford & Ruscombe Horticultural Association’s (TRHA) Summer Show revealed flower, fruit and vegetable-laden display tables as well as a range of cakes, handicrafts and artworks.

The traditional village show drew a large crowd of visitors and exhibitors alike.
Organisers thanked all the volunteers who made the show possible, as well as Winnersh Garden Centre which contributed a prize for the raffle.
In addition to celebrating local achievements in growing, making, baking and creating, the TRHA used the event to invest in the next generation of growers.

Representatives from three local schools – Charvil Piggott Primary, Colleton Primary, and Polehampton Infant School, were invited to the show, where each school was presented with a cheque for £200.
The £600 total donation was raised during the association’s Charity Quiz Night in March and will go directly toward funding school gardening projects.

The association thanked its members for their continued generosity in supporting community initiatives.
