The new development at Arborfield Garrison has been announced today (Friday) following a public poll.
Arborfield Green has been announced as the runaway winner in the poll of local residents.
The shortlist of names was drawn from over fifty names that had been previously submitted by local residents, Parish Councils and other interested groups. Some 9500 thousand leaflets were circulated locally inviting residents to choose their favourite and from the shortlist of five.
Commenting on the result, Crest Nicholson’s Development Director, Hugo Reeve said, “We have had extensive consultation to select a marketing name for this new garden village community, and we now have one by democratic vote. We will now be asking our design team to create a visual identity for the new Arborfield Green community.”
