THERE’S a flutter of excitement in a borough village as a new restaurant settles in Twyford.
Thai Butterfly Restaurant serves exotic flavours from South East Asia.
Dishes include fragrant curries and delicate stir-fries, made according to traditional techniques.
These are authentic, but with some modern twists, say owners Dennis and Suprya Elvie.
The business opened this month, and the restaurant is already popular with visitors.
As well as its signature dishes, diners can also enjoy the Thai Butterfly’s special musical ambiance, because Dennis is also a professional pianist, and will play regularly at the restaurant.
He has performed across the UK and Europe as a soloist, and bands, appearing on BBC and Sky television.
A member of the team said: “We’re already getting great reviews, and the community is telling us that the food is amazing.
“People are choosing to come for special occasions, and not only from Twyford.
“We’ve had people coming from as far afield as Wycombe.
“The red curries in particular are going down well, and the stir-fries.”
