A CHARITY’S fun day could be just what families are looking for this summer.
The Ollie Young Foundation Summer Fun Day will feature a raffle, inflatables, games and stalls, and a classic car show.
Families will also be able to enjoy circus skills, face painting, DJ music, live entertainment, and there will also be a children’s play area.
A range of refreshments will be available, including a barbecue and a licensed bar.
Organisers say that every penny raised will go towards the Ollie Young Foundation.
Ollie Young passed away in 2012, one day before his sixth birthday, due to an incurable brain tumour.
His family chose to honour his name by setting up the charity and have since raised just over £905,000 to fund paediatric brain tumour research.
All are welcome to the event at Cantley Park on Sunday, August 9.
Entry costs £1 per family and the fun will begin at 11am, lasting until 4pm.
