GENERATIONS gathered at a Wokingham care home to enjoy its summer fete.
West Oak care home hosted the event in its grounds on Saturday for staff, residents, relatives and the borough community.
A variety of activities were available throughout the afternoon, including live entertainment from singer Natasha King, a barbeque, a tombola, a raffle, and games.

Visitors enjoyed plenty of refreshments, too, including hot dogs, burgers, chips and salad.
Linda, a resident, said: “ I thoroughly enjoyed the fete, especially going around the stalls.
“I can’t believe I won the guess the weight of the cake competition!

“It was great to see so many people enjoying the live music, stalls and of course the barbeque.”
West Oak general manager Louise Jones said: “Staff at West Oak are dedicated to making sure that the home is a hub of the local community, and this event, along with all their hard work, has definitely paid off.
“It was a resounding success.”
