A SPENCERS Wood nursery is celebrating following its positive Ofsted inspection.

Inspectors recognised Wise Owls at Farm View day nursery’s good provision, focus on children’s wellbeing and robust safeguarding practices.

Laura Hughes, operations director at the nursery, said: “We are incredibly proud of this positive Ofsted outcome.

“Our team works tirelessly to provide the highest quality care and education for every child, and it is wonderful to see their dedication recognised within the report.

“Children’s wellbeing, happiness and safety are at the centre of everything we do.”

The report highlights the nursery’s commitment to creating a nurturing, welcoming and stimulating environment where children feel happy, safe and valued.

Inspectors recognised the strong relationships between staff and children, and the nursery’s safeguarding culture.

Inspectors found that staff understand their safeguarding responsibilities and receive regular training to ensure their knowledge remains current.

“We are particularly pleased that the inspection recognised our strong safeguarding culture, the quality of our provision and the positive relationships our staff build with children and families every day,” said Ms Hughes.

“This outcome reflects the hard work, passion and commitment of our entire team, as well as the ongoing support of our wonderful children and families.”

The inspection praised the quality of care and education provided, with staff’s knowledgement of child development and their ability to create opportunities that encourage curiosity, independence and confidence.

The report also highlighted the positive partnerships developed with families, recognising the important role parents play in children’s learning and development.
