Peyman Jahromi, Labour
Peyman has lived in Wokingham for 9 years and has a child at St. Crispin’s School
Peyman is disabled, a law graduate and an Associate of CILEX. He has been a political and human rights activist for more than 30 years, and is currently a Shinfield Parish Councillor.
” I am passionate about social justice. As a disabled person I would like the Council to do more to recognise the needs of disabled and elderly people who can feel neglected.
“As a father I am concerned about the reduction in funding for education. I believe that a Councillor should be available and transparent to residents and has to reflect their concerns.

John Kaiser, Conservatives
John has been a Wokingham borough councillor for nearly eight years representing the ward of Barkham; He also serves on the Arborfield and Newland parish council and has done for 20 years.
During his time with Wokingham Borough council he has held a number of roles on the council’s executive.
He served on the planning committee for 5 years only stepping down when he became Mayor in 2018. In addition to serving as the Mayor of Wokingham Borough he is on the fostering panel and remains committed to protecting the rural environment, reducing congestion and maintaining high standards of education across the borough.
John is married with three grown-up children and one grandson and has lived in Wokingham for more than 30 years.
Robert Tuck, Liberal Democrats
Rob has lived in Barkham for over 10 years.
He works in IT as a software developer and is a keen runner.
He can often be seen at the California Country parkrun in Finchampstead where he is a regular volunteer.
Rob says “I am standing because I want the voice of Barkham to be heard at the Council.
“We have been ignored long enough!”
