I have lived in the local area with my family since 1988, so I am fully aware of the concerns that impact local residents because your issues are my issues.
I have been self-employed for the past 38 years and am committed to the growth and vitality of our local community.
At the heart of this is my belief that we must enhance the skills of young people and create opportunities for them to be responsive to economic, social, technological, and political changes. The recent pandemic has taught us all to reconsider the way we live, work and travel.
My experience as a borough councillor serving neighbouring Park ward in Reading, from 2007 – 2011, gave me valuable awareness of environment protection, local infrastructure, supporting local businesses, improving education, and tackling anti-social behaviour.
Public service is what drives me. I am committed to helping others and standing up for the residents of Bulmershe and Whitegates.
I can only do this with your support and trust. Please contact me to share your views or if you need any help.
Sheila Jordan, Liberal Democrat

I have lived in Bulmershe and Whitegates since 2003 and my partner and I have lived in and around the area throughout our lives. I trained as an accountant and over the past few years have worked as an administrator for a number of international development charities. Away from work, my passions are for crafts, real cider and science fiction. I believe in Liberal values, a fair, more equal society with opportunities for all, where no one is excluded or left behind.
