Domino’s is celebrating 34 years of serving pizza lovers in the local community, marking the milestone with a range of special birthday deals available until August 16 at its store on Peach Street.
For more than three decades, Domino’s Wokingham has been a familiar part of the town, serving generations of customers and becoming a go-to destination for fresh, delicious pizzas delivered straight to homes across the area.
To thank customers for their continued support, the team is inviting the community to join the celebrations and take advantage of exclusive birthday offers.
As the store celebrates its 34th birthday, it is also reflecting on the impact it has had on the local community. Over the last ten years alone, Domino’s Wokingham has created 697 employment opportunities, helping many people gain valuable workplace experience.
The store has also become a big part of Wokingham life through the pizzas it serves. In the last year, customers have enjoyed more than 107,000 pizzas from Domino’s Wokingham.
Laid end-to-end, those pizzas would stretch for more than 18 kilometres, enough to travel from Wokingham to Reading and back, or roughly the distance from the store to Heathrow Terminal 5.
Pizza isn’t the only favourite. In the past year, customers have ordered more than 21,000 Garlic & Herb dips, amounting to over 400 litres of sauce, enough to fill a hot tub.
While the store’s most popular choice is the endlessly customisable Create Your Own pizza, its best-selling signature pizza is the Pepperoni Passion, with more than 12,000 sold in the last year alone.
Alongside celebrating its anniversary, the store is highlighting its commitment to supporting good causes. Domino’s continues its long-standing partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust, which has been running since 2015. Through the Teenage Cancer Trust Charity Deal, Domino’s donates £1 from every purchase directly to the charity, helping to support young people living with cancer across the UK.
Noor Zada, store manager at Domino’s Wokingham, said: “Reaching our 34th birthday is a fantastic milestone and one we’re incredibly proud of.
We’d like to thank all of our customers who have supported us over the years and helped make Domino’s Wokingham such an important part of the local community.
“Wokingham has grown significantly over the years and we’re proud to have grown alongside it.
“As new families move into the town and long-standing residents continue to support us, we’re delighted to serve a slice to households across the community.
“Wokingham is also a thriving business hub, and we’re proud to fuel everything from team lunches and corporate events to late-night project sprints.
“Most importantly, Wokingham has a fantastic community spirit. Our birthday Mega Fortnight is our way of celebrating the families, schools, charities and local groups who make this town such a special place.”
