Home Counties Division One

WOKINGHAM stay in fifth place after they lost out in a high scoring affair at home to Datchet.

The Oaks elected to field first and despite an excellent bowling performance from Andy Rishton (5-107), the visitors totalled a huge score of 347 before they declared.

Wokingham fought strongly as opening batsman Rishton scored 42 before Michael Cowdell lasted the entire innings on his way to notching 86 runs, but the hosts were all out 71 runs short of the target.

FINCHAMPSTEAD had to settle for a draw in their away fixture at Harefield.

Finch batted first and totted up 250 runs before being bowled out as Chris Brtiz top scored with 79.

An outstanding bowling performance from Lewis Sharp, who took six wickets, had Harefield on 219-8 as the home team held on to clinch a draw.

WARGRAVE picked up their third victory of the season with an exceptional 122-run success over Aston Rowant.

Dan Lincoln knocked 68 runs which helped Wargrave to 257 before four wickets from Euan Woods had Rowant all out for 135 to seal the win.


BCM Championship

SHINFIELD collected a 44-run triumph over Braywood.

Davesh Gauchwal top scored with 74 to see Shinfield onto 204 before they bowled Braywood all out for 160.

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD moved up with a three wicket away win at Ley Hill.

A stunning bowling display from Anthony Cluett saw him pick up six wickets before a score of 70 from Daniel Cartledge helped the Crows over the line.


BCL Premier Division

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD climbed to the top of the table with a three-wicket win over SHINFIELD 2s.

The Crows chased down 200 to win the match with three wickets in reserve after 38.4 overs.

READING UNITED collected 37 points after they earned a thumping away success at Goring on Thames.

Suman Ganguly totalled a century to see Reading finish with 285 before they skittled Goring all out for 84 to seal a 201-run win.

SANDHURST lost out by just two wickets on their away trip to Stratfield Turgis.

WEST READING 2s collected 35 points with a 116-run triumph against Woodcote.

BCL Division One

WALTHAM ST LAWRENCE were defeated at home by 78 runs against Silchester.

EARLEY added 35 points to their total after they thrashed WEST READING 3s by 199 runs.

Earley hit a huge first innings total of 356 which included a century from Ranvir Rana and a half century from Surendranath Machupalli.

Earley than had their opponents all out on 157 to seal victory.

Thames Valley Division One

EVERSLEY remain at the summit after they picked up a draw against Falkland.

The Boars smashed a huge first innings total of 346-8, which included 130 from TOm Nichols.

However, Falkland managed to survive 49 overs on 206-9 despite four wickets from Benjamin Salter which held the game to a draw.

WOKINGHAM 2s dropped down to the foot of the table after a draw with Tring Park.

Thames Valley Division 2B

READING keep their spot at the top despite suffering defeat to SONNING.

Sonning stay in ninth despite earning a remarkable 102-run success over the current leaders.

BINFIELD climbed up to fourth place with a five-wicket win against Harpsden.

FINCHAMPSTEAD 2s dropped down to seventh after they lost out by 106 runs to Cove 2s.

HURST collected their first league win of the season with a seven wicket win over Sulhamstead & Ufton.

Reynolds took four wickets for Hurst before 82 not out from Hobbs helped them confirm their win with seven wickets left.
