A property in Birch Hill, Bracknell, has been fully closed following repeated reports of anti-social behaviour that residents said was affecting their quality of life.
Officers from the Bracknell Neighbourhood Team initially issued a partial closure notice at an address in Gainsborough on 9 April 2026. The following day, Reading Magistrates’ Court granted a partial closure order lasting three months.
However, police say further incidents led to additional enforcement action.
In the early hours of 15 April, officers carried out a compliance check at the property. Only one woman had been authorised to be present under the terms of the order, but officers reported hearing male voices inside.
Police entered the address, where one man allegedly attempted to escape through a window.
Five men were arrested on suspicion of entering premises subject to a closure order. They were later interviewed and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Following the arrests, PC Ayres from the Bracknell Neighbourhood Team attended court on 16 April, where a full closure order was granted. The order restricts access to the property to emergency services only.
Police said they hoped the action would send a clear message to those involved in disruptive behaviour.
A spokesperson said: “We will take action to protect our residents and do not tolerate behaviour that harms our communities.”
Residents are being encouraged to continue reporting anti-social behaviour to help police take further action.
