Christmas Eve crib services, midnight masses and carols across Wokingham borough 2018

For many people, Christmas always starts with Carols From Kings on BBC Two – but churches across the borough will be holding special Christmas Eve services and events on Monday, December 24.

For younger people there are dress-up nativities and crib services where they can remember the events of the first Christmas, sing carols and enjoy seasonal refreshments, while late at night there are midnight services for people wanting to celebrate the start of Christmas Day.

Here we round up all the services in churches across Wokingham borough.
