THE NEXT arrival to Peach Place has been announced, as boutique women’s fashion store moves in.

MiMi’s fashion and gift boutique currently has one store in Hartley Witney, and will be joining the likes of Oliver Bonas, Ripples bathroom designers and Neon Sheep as part of the town’s regeneration.

The store took to Twitter earlier today to announce their imminent arrival.

Coffee#1 are also set to start welcoming local café lovers as their latest store opens its doors in the new square tomorrow.

Cllr Charlotte Haitham Taylor, executive member for regeneration, said: “I’m very excited to see MiMi’s come to Peach Place. They are just the type of independent business that we think will do very well in Wokingham, offering a lovely range of clothing, homeware and gifts, all picked out with an eye for style and something just that little more unique.

“The first MiMi’s store in Hartley Witney continues to gain glowing reviews from local shoppers who describe it as everything from their own shop of loveliness, to the perfect place to find that elusive ‘something’ that you haven’t been able to locate elsewhere.

“We’re confident that they will be able to bring this touch of magic and great customer service to Wokingham and look forward to seeing them open their doors soon.

“We’re incredibly pleased with how successful Peach Place has been and how it continues to attract such a great range of national names and independent boutiques to the town,” Cllr Haitham Taylor continued.

“Anyone coming into Wokingham at the moment can see a huge difference in the town centre with lots of new shops and things to do.

“Over the coming months people will really start to see the Peach Place come into its own as shops continue to open and we start using the square to host some of the spectacular free events it was specially designed to accommodate.

“We’ve been having some good conversations with a number of the local businesses and already have many ideas we will be working up in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for more information soon.”
