EMPLOYEES of a Wokingham commercial cleaning organisation have pulled together to support their local foodbank.
Commercial group RapidClean posted online to thank its teams for donating nearly 50kg of groceries, which were delivered to Wokingham Foodbank.
Wokingham Foodbank Manager Annette Medhurst, said: “ We were delighted to receive the donation from Rapid Clean.
“It weighed in at 49.6kg.
“The foodbank remains very busy, and over the summer months we routinely had more food going out than coming in.
“About half of our referrals cite the increasing cost of essential items as a reason for needing a food parcel.
“We are very grateful to RapidClean for supporting our work and for donating this tremendous amount of groceries.
“It is very much needed to enable us to continue to support our community.”
RapidClean provides cleaning service to businesses, schools, leisure facilities and medical centres across the south of England.
