WOKINGHAM Borough Council is also considering a number of areas it needs to invest in for its services to ensure they continue to meet demand.
The cost of these investments is more than £1 million.
The areas highlighted are:
- Sustaining anti-social behaviour service at same level
- Additional waste and recycling resource to service increase in property numbers
- Funding for buses to cover inflation and a drop off in passenger numbers
- Increase capacity to meet demand of domestic abuse services
- Further consultancy for the local plan
- Additional development management staffing
- Updating Routewise system/software for community transport unit
- Roll out of parking enforcement at “School Keep Clear” markings
- Support for climate emergency behaviour change programme and deliberative process
