A WOKINGHAM organisation that matches older people with friendship volunteers is holding a social event.
The Link Visiting Scheme works to alleviate loneliness and isolation in older people, offering a range of activities and projects.
The next event is a winter bowls afternoon with tea and cakes, at Whiteknights Indoor Bowls Club, Earley
It takes place on Friday, March 8, from 1.30pm until 3.30pm.
Tickets cost £5, and must be booked in advance.
