A FAMILY fun run is to be held in aid of a primary school’s PTA.
Emmrbook Junior School is organising its annual Jingle Bell Jog on Sunday, December 10.
The fun event includes a two-mile route that can be walked, scooted, run, jogged or pushed – and every participant will be given jingle bells to wear … and sweeties at the finish line.
Organisers invite people to wear fancy dress with prizes available for the best.
There will also be a festive fair inside Emmbrook Infants school and on the Junior School playground, with stalls including tombolas, seasonal refreshments, hot dogs and mince pies.
Santa will be in his grotto, and children can visit for a minimum donation of £3.
The event is sponsored by David Cliff Estate Agents.
It is held at the Emmbrook Road school from 10.30am. Places cost from £6.13 and can be booked via Eventbrite, searching for Jingle Bell Jog & Festive Fair.
Organisers advise that no dogs, apart from assistance dogs, will be allowed on site, and it is not safe for cyclists to take part.
