FOOTBALL-mad youngsters will be given the chance to learn some new skills at a workshop in Earley next week thanks to John Farnworth.
Tekkers Football Academy will be hosting a skills workshop with freestyle world champion and record holder John Farnworth at Maiden Erlegh School, in Silverdale Road, on Thursday, August 31.
Open to youngsters as young as five up to 14-years-old, attendees will learn a host of tricks which they can then show off in a competition later on in the afternoon.
Parents and siblings are then invited to watch John perform his football magic in a show which will conclude the day’s fun.
Entry to the 90-minute workshops cost £12 per child; entry to the competition is £3 per child; and entry to the football magic show is £7. The day starts at 11am, with the competition starting at 3pm, and the show at 6pm.
