Wokingham Town Football Club have reached the Cherry Red Records League Challenge Cup Final following a ruling by the league’s committee.
Last Tuesday’s semi-final match at Lowther Road against Wliingford & Crowmarsh was abandoned with 11 minutes remaining due to a serious injury to Wallingford’s Tyler D’Cruz that required an ambulance.
The Sumas were leading 3-1 at the time.
After being considered by the league, they will now travel to Cobham FC on Tuesday, May 12, for the final against either Windsor & Eton or Epsom & Ewell, who play their semi-final tonight (Tuesday).
