Mystery surrounds the person or people and their motives behind “graffiti” left multiple times on the former Barclays building in Market Place, Wokingham.
A sign advertising the vacant property has been “edited” on at least three occasions in recent weeks.
Black tape was added to the “To Let” sign to create the word “Toilet”, and twice in the last week the “Under Offer” sign has had the word “Pants” added, creating “Under Pants”
Wokingham borough council staff had originally removed the wording, only for it to reappear again yesterday (Monday) before again being removed.
