A new calendar is about to go on sale and Reading FC players are hoping that you’ll make a date for it.
The Royals Uncovered features members of the first team as you’ve never seen them before – and the tastefully produced calendar is a show of support for Royals Academy Manager Eamonn Dolan, who has recently undergone a course of chemotherapy after having a tumour removed from his bladder.
Profits from the charity calendar will be donated to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, an organisation nominated by Dolan following their incredible support during his treatment.
Amanda Heaton, Community & Corporate Fundraising Manager at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, said: “I am delighted that Reading Football Club are supporting The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity through the sales of this calendar.
“This is a lovely way to raise funds which will help The Royal Marsden to build a future beyond cancer. Thank you to all those everyone involved in the production of this calendar and I hope that the sales go well.”
The calendar, priced £10, is due to go on sale tomorrow at the Royals Megastore at Madejski Stadium and online at Reading FC Direct. A signing of the calendar is also planned.
