Wokingham borough council, with its partners from Thames Valley Police, is aiming to crack down on crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) in town centres as part of a Safer Streets campaign.
People visiting town centres in the borough will see more neighbourhood police officers on patrol.
Local policing teams will also be organising days of action and operations to tackle issues such as illegal e-scooters, street crime, shoplifting, and other offences that affect our communities.
The campaign started with an event in Wokingham town centre where, despite the bad weather, people had a chance to talk to various partners and explore both a fire engine and a police car. This will be followed by more events across the summer.
