EVERSLEY extended their lead at the summit of Division 2A with an emphatic 180-run win against Marlow.
Having won the toss and elected to bat first, Eversley were in scintillating form with the bat as Tom Howarth top scored with 101 runs, while James Magowan followed shortly behind with an impressive innings of 87 runs.
Alex Sykes (42) and Byron Hickham also contributed with decent totals before Eversley were eventually bowled all out after 49.3 overs, posting a huge total of 330 for Marlow to chase.
The excellent bowling of Tom Nichols (5-43) ensured that Marlow got nowhere near the target set by Eversley as they were bowled all out for 150 runs after just 31.2 overs as the Boars maintained their winning run to four consecutive games.
In division 2B the Seconds hosted Bagshot Firsts. The match turned out as a decisive win for Finches. They totalled 34-5 with a fine 122 from Ryan Bone in his debut match.
Good support from Andy Lazenbury 59 and Phil West 57 saw the formidable total on the board.
Bagshot had no answers to the score as fine bowling ensured they were
dismissed for 136. Leading the bowlers were Andy Lazenbury 3-25, Connor Corlett 2-13 and Nick West 2-14.
Binfield remain on top of Division 3A after they defeated Cove 2s by 88 runs.
The hosts posted a score of 223 from 45 overs as Chris Morgan knocked 62 runs and Jack Collett hit 56 not out to help Binfield to a decent innings.
Collett (4-21) added to his half century with a fine bowling performance as Binfield fielded superbly to dismiss all 10 Cove batsmen after just 31 overs for 135 runs to clinch their fourth victory of the season.
Elsewhere in Division 3A, Wokingham 2s thrashed Finchampstead 3s with a very quick victory.
Finch won the toss and elected to bat first but were all out for just 57 runs after 24.3 overs after two remarkable individual bowling performances as Fisher took 5-14 and Carter 4-17.
Wokingham wasted no time in chasing down the modest total set by Finch and it took them just 5.2 overs to reach the target set to seal an easy victory.
Wargrave 2s extended their winning start to the season to win their fourth consecutive match with a two wicket triumph over Bagshot 2s in Division 4A
Joe Warren starred with the ball for Wargrave with figures of 3-27 as Bagshot set Wargrave a total of 198 to chase before they were bowled all out after 42 overs.
Will Allum top scored for Wargrave with 67 runs and Joe Warren helped to contribute towards the chase with 43 runs.
Despite a stunning bowling display from Adit Gandhi (5-32), Wargrave held out with two wickets spare as they surpassed the total with just under eight overs remaining.
Also in the division, White Waltham suffered a narrow defeat against Theale & Tilehurst.
The hosts set a total of 259 for White Waltham to catch with three of their batsman posting half centuries but a brilliant bowling performance from Ben Scarborough (4-40) helped keep the total down.
Despite several strong innings in the White Waltham order, they were unable to chase down the total as they fell just 13 runs short of the target after the allocated 45 overs were bowled.
Wokingham 3s picked up their second win of the season with a two wicket victory over Sonning in Division 4A.
Jake Turner displayed an outstanding all round performance as he helped to keep Sonning to a total of 198, as he claimed four wickets for a return of just 22 runs.
Wokingham surpassed the target set by Sonning after 35.2 overs as Turner showed his prowess with the bat as he scored a century for his side and remained not out.
Eversley 2s extended their advantage at the top of Division 5B as they thrashed Aldershot 2s by eight wickets.
Eversley were superb in the field and an exceptional bowling performance from Rezaul Roni (4-9) was accompanied by another excellent bowling display from Matt Reardon-Brown (3-19) as Aldershot were all out for just 68.
Paul Ager knocked 44 not out as Eversley stormed to victory, surpassing the total set by Aldershot in just 11.4 overs.
In the same division, Binfield 2s remain close behind Eversley in second place after they defeated Boyne Hill by 61 runs.
James Collett top scored for the hosts hitting 80 runs as Binfield set a total of 255 from 45 overs for Boyne Hill to chase.
Despite an impressive 73 from Boyne Hill’s Adam McConkey, they fell well short of the target after 45 overs as Binfield claimed the points.
White Waltham 2s won their fourth game of the season in Division 6A as they dominated Chiswick & Whitton 2s with a nine wicket victory.
White Waltham bowled their opponents all out for 156 and the visitors captured victory after 37 overs having only lost one wicket as Hugh Gillen-Toon helped by hitting 66 runs.
In Division 6B, Hurst 2s were beaten by 38 runs against Fleet 2s despite a fantastic individual performance from Jack White who impressed with both bat and ball.
White took four wickets for 58 runs before scoring 89 not out, but his side were beaten after Fleet dismissed Hurst for 204 runs, 38 short of the target set.
Meanwhile in the same division, Finchampstead 4s are still searching for their first win of the season after they suffered a 56 run defeat again Sulhamstead & Ufton 2s.
Sulhamstead set Finch a target of 258 to chase and despite 73 not out from Adil Mohammed and 57 from Billy Oliver they were defeated.
In Division 7A, Binfield 3s defeated Aldershot 3s by seven wickets thanks to a superb bowling display from Harry Jones (5-61) and a brilliant batting performance from John Humphrey (81).
Elsewhere in Division 7A, Wokingham 4s were defeated by three wickets against Kidmore End 2s while Wargrave 3s recorded a huge 101-run victory against Maidenhead & Bray after Taran Sohi hit 130 runs.
In Division 8A, Eversley 3s beat Bracknell 2s by six wickets while the match between Wokingham 5s and Royal Ascot 4s was forfeited by Royal Ascot.
Also in Division 8A, Finchampstead 5s were defeated by just four runs against Bradfield 2s in a tightly contested match which saw two centuries scored by Bradfield and one by Finchampstead’s Scott Olser (142).
In Division 9A, Kidmore End thrashed Wargrave 4s by 103 runs, Sonning 3s were beaten by 13 runs against Reading 4s while Wokingham Oaks & Acorns forfeited their match against Marlow Park.
