A TWYFORD restaurant held a successful relaunch last week, marking the end of a refurbishment project.
La Fontana in Wargrave Road has been given a makeover, not just with the building but the offering as well.
A wine bar area has been introduced and the menu has been enhanced so that in addition to the Italian menu offering staples such as pizza and pasta, there are tapas and mezze options available.
To celebrate, owners Emad and Caroline Salib invited customers and Twyford residents to come in and have a taste of the menu last Thursday evening. A special buffet area was set up last Thursday and it was standing room only as the village turned out in force to mark the new chapter for the restaurant.
One customer said: “[It was an] amazing taster opening night, [with] amazing food … can’t wait to go back.”
