WEEKEND PREVIEW: Six-pointer for Woodley, Rams on the road

South Berkshire Ladies drew 4-4 last weekend

WOODLEY UNITED face a six-pointer against Fairford Town in the Hellenic Premier Division on Saturday.

The Kestrels sit 16th in the table after 21 games, but are on a run of no wins in six league games, since the reverse fixture against Fairford.

Manager James Anderson has often spoken about the importance of fixtures against sides in and around them in the table and with Fairford sitting 18th, Woodley will be under no illusions of the importance of the clash at the Rivermoor.

Roger Herridge’s men are in fine form

In the same league, Roger Herridge’s BINFIELD travel to Tuffley Rovers.

Unlike Woodley, Binfield are in fine form with just one defeat in their last 12 games and they could move up to seventh in the table.

In Division One East, WOKINGHAM AND EMMBROOK will be looking to keep building momentum when they welcome Wallingford Town to Lowther Road.
