MORE THAN 3,000 people attended Ashridge Park’s summer tournament over the weekend.
There were 170 teams from across every age group from Under-7s to men’s at the event at St Crispin’s School, which is now in its 17th year.
Teams often travel from across the south east to the Wokingham-based club, but this year there was even a representative from Germany in the shape of Gymnasium Lechenich, who reached the semi-finals of the U15 competition.
Ashridge themselves clinched some silverware in the shape of the U11/14/18 plate competitions.
“We have enhanced this event over many years and continue to make improvements where we can,” said club chair Ady Dolan.
“We listen to feedback and deliver what I think is a great local sports event.”
